Sculptra results can last up to 2 years, though this varies by individual. Unlike traditional fillers that provide immediate volume, Sculptra is an injectable treatment whose active ingredient is poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA) and works by stimulating your body's own collagen production. Results develop gradually over a series of treatments, thereby restoring volume, improving skin structure, smoothing wrinkles and enhancing skin firmness.

The Sculptra Body Timeline

• Immediately After: Temporary fullness occurs due to the sterile water used to mix the product, which subsides in 2 to 3 days.

• Weeks 1–4: The injected product settles, and any initial redness or bruising resolves.

• Weeks 4–12: Your body begins building new collagen. The skin begins to feel firmer, tighter, and subtly thicker.

• Months 3–6 (Peak): The full structural improvements, including restored volume and smoothed-out skin laxity, become fully visible. [1, 2, 3, 4]

• Buttocks (Sculptra Butt Lift): Adds subtle volume, lifts sagging, and improves skin texture and cellulite dimples without surgery.

• Abdomen & Thighs: Tightens loose, crepey skin. Note that Sculptra does not reduce fat, but tightens and tones the surface skin.

• Decolletage & Arms: Diminishes wrinkles, improves crepiness, and restores firmness in the chest and upper arms.
